Are you a pet owner and pet lover who is afraid of some of the over-the-counter products on the market today.
Would you like to find out about natural home remedies for your dog and cat?
I am a proud cat owner.
I love all animals and over the years have acquired cats and dogs off the street and from shelters.
I had quite a few stray cats that lived very long and happy lives. Four of them made it to 20yrs of age a one made it to 23 yrs old.
16 years ago I went to the SPCA and adopted 2 kittens. I had not had a kitten for many many years. I always had older stray cats. Who I loved very much.
I keep my cats indoors, and bringing in an old stray takes allot of work to litter box train. And many times 18 years later your still training.
So I wanted for once in my life to get kittens and see what it is like to have clean cats in the house.
I know it sounds so selfish, but I just wanted a rest.
Anyway I got my wish. I adopted 2 precious kittens. One was very sick but she pulled through. She was only 5 weeks old and neutered. I think the operation took allot out of her.
I am totally for spaying and neutering animals. Our SPCA was doing it to all young cats. I applaud them for doing it, I just think it might of been a little to early on my kitten. But it worked out and she is fine.
We also adopted a male orange cat. Who was never fine. Our Benjamin, first broke his hip when he was a year old, then got crystals in his kidneys and finally ended up with diabetes.
He died at 13 yrs of age.
I didn't mean to go on for so long to reach my point, sorry.
I just wanted to say, that it seems our pets do not live as long as they did before. I maybe off base here.
But maybe our pets are over exposed to chemcials.
When ever I am speaking with people about their dogs and cats it seems to all of us that our animals get sick more often.
Maybe like us, their immune systems are not as strong any longer and cannot fend off various diseases.
So whenever you can, I suggest you look into the many natural home remedies for pets and see if they work for you.
It cannot be bad to cut down on some of the commercial products we use for our cats and dogs.
